Senior Design + Relocation Support Services
These are the basic services I provide:
Creation of a custom move chronology and calendar to help us both feel grounded and on track
Support you in choosing which furnishings to move with you, and decide what will fit in your new apartment
Consider favorite functions and activities you’d like to continue enjoying (needlework, reading, crafts, painting, playing cards with friends) and plan for this in new apartment
Creation of a furniture, lighting and artwork placement plan drawing for you to approve
Schedule mover, organizing the careful packing of art and furnishings, overseeing the loading and unloading of truck
Arranging furniture in your new apartment, unpacking of boxes in kitchen, bathrooms, closets, etc., and organizing everything to your satisfaction
Making-up of beds, and hanging artwork in ways that feel familiar and satisfying
Returning to make any changes insuring the complete comfort, safety, and ease of functions in your new home

These are some additional available services that provide ease and support both during and after the move:
Arrange for design, safety and function upgrades in your new apartment before the move, such as new lighting, window coverings, closet built-ins, new wall color, grab bars, cabinetry hardware, etc.
Selection, purchase and design of new furnishings, if needed
Removal of remaining or unnecessary furnishings via donation, consignment or auction
Coordinate with your Realtor to clean and stage your home for a speedy sale
